Jazzin.rs was founded in 2009 as an initiative of a journalists and jazz music lovers who had previously gathered for years online, exchanging their impressions about jazz. The editorial policy from the start was directed towards original articles that, on one hand, would be uncompromising with clearly expressed views, and on the other hand, primarily focused on the contemporary jazz scene, which at that time was insufficiently represented in Serbian mainstream media, even on specialized pages dedicated to culture.
Starting this year, Jazzin.rs is launching a new page in English with the aim of presenting the original work of jazz journalists, critics, and columnists from Serbia to an international audience.
